1. General Information

We take the protection of your personal data very seriously and treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the applicable data protection legislation and this privacy policy.

2. Collection and Storage of Personal Data and the Nature and Purpose of Processing (Hosting)

When you access our website, certain technical data is processed. The web server, for example, processes your IP address to deliver the website content to your device. This processing is necessary to technically enable your visit to the website (log files).

The legal basis for this is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in the operation and security of the website).

The following data may be collected:

This data is not stored beyond what is technically necessary. It is deleted after a maximum of seven days, unless legal retention requirements or a security incident require a longer storage period.

3. Use of Framer Analytics

We use the internal analytics functions provided by our hosting provider Framer by default. These analytics are used solely for statistical evaluation of website usage (e.g., page views, traffic sources).

Framer Analytics does not use cookies or tracking technologies for personal identification and does not store personal data as defined under the GDPR. Processing occurs anonymously on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR) in optimizing and improving our website.

We currently do not use any additional tracking or analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and do not deploy cookies or other technologies that collect personal data without your explicit consent.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

The processing of technical data and Framer Analytics data (see Sections 2 and 3) is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest – operation, security, and optimization of the website).

5. Disclosure of Data to Third Parties / Data Transfers to Third Countries

Personal data is currently not shared with third parties, except as technically necessary for operating the website:

Hosting and Technical Provision

We use the hosting service of Framer B.V. (Netherlands). Framer processes technically necessary data on our behalf to provide the website. A data processing agreement (DPA) under Art. 28 GDPR has been concluded with Framer.

Hosting and Provision of Legal Documents

We use GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc., 88 Colin P Kelly Jr St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA) to store and provide our legal documents (e.g., privacy policy, legal notice). When these documents are accessed, GitHub processes technically necessary log file data to deliver the content and ensure functionality. GitHub processes this data as its own controller and relies on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) for data transfers to the United States.

No further transfers to countries outside the EU take place. Should this change in the future, we will provide transparent information here.

6. Rights of Data Subjects
